QUIS LEGET HAEC

Monday

T-Minus 41 hours and counting.

doesn't that sound great?!

I just hope I did everything right when it comes to plane tickets and hotel reservations. I think Amanda leaves tomorrow.

Lucky her. She'll be there for two weeks.

Everything's planned out. Spanish steps, coluseum, pantheon, mouth of truth, fountain tevi, vatican, etc, etc, etc...

anyway, this will probably be the last blog for the year. imagine that, another new years begun outside the U.S.

Have a great new years.

caio!

Thursday

Music I'm listening to: Modest Mouse
Emotional state: Steady (I think)

I've had the music playing all night. I have so much stuff on my hp that I don't know what to do with. Actually, it's nothing but music, nothing important.

I started to hear Modest Mouse and began to reminisce. I can almost feel how I felt when I first went to Soundwaves to buy "The Lonesome Crowded West". Matt had introduced me to them and I was hooked. Not as hooked as Matt, but I liked it none-the-less. Jeez, things seemed so peaceful back then. Am I just suffering from that "In the good old days" syndrome?

Well, all I'm doing is waiting for AFTER the 23rd for grades from UST. I think I did relatively good even with all my procrastination. Now this passed semester was intense with all those papers due back to back. I had actually thought that a Masters degree was pretty easy until this passed semester. Now I know that it's difficult. Anyway, after tomorrow, I'll find out how bad I did.

Music I'm listening to: ABBA -- Voulez vous
Okay, moment's over because ABBA has began to play. Now I'm just missing the 70's because of all the cocaine and disco dancing. Anyway, that's my cue to move on to bigger and better things. I must go watch some television. See ya later.

Wednesday

thy words no longer sweet to the lips. shakespeare would say something along the lines of "unsweetened words".

doing nothing interesting but watching "scarface" on spike network.

waiting to leave for italy: [T-Minus 6 days: 16hours: 35minutes]

Monday

can i be any more of a lefty? my left shoe lace keeps untying. i have refrained from tying my shoe as of now. actually, i've refrained for a while now. anyway, still studying for love and death. got the gist, but not the specs.

what did we do this weekend? well, Saturday, several of us went to a food party. no alcohol. weird. it seems that the people were on a happy high, being together. WHAT THE ???? Anyway, it was interesting to say the least. never been to one, and with any luck, never will again. felt out of place.

afterwards, several of us (again), went to The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the River Oaks Theatre. Talk about Shits-and-Giggles!!! First time I ever went to a theatre that allowed yelling and throwing things while you were watching a movie being acted out on stage by real people. BUT?! Were they real or just robots, as a compatriot may ask, who, I may intercede attended the unorthodox theatre. Anyway, that's enough of my Manor-born oration. The funniest part of the whole night was seeing three people sleep through the profanity, projectiles and name calling. Sorry, couldn't give you another "P" word for that last sentence. I tried, so that should get me coochy-credit. THAT'S A TMI "ANYWAY"!

first time i've seen the movie on big screen. kind of exciting! except for the whole earthly realization of my temporal mortal body, i would swear i was back in 1975, watching it amongst the other rebellious malcontentious adolescents. again, i apologize for my flowery writing tonight. not sure what's wrong with me. i'll try to do better.

that's all from the front.

Wednesday

MAN! I was so hiped about this job interview tomorrow. won't tell you with who, because it turns out to be a scam. after speaking with my better half, i got this idea about actually researching the company. actually, the guy who called, caught me by surprise, so the questions that i should have asked (obvious-as-hell questions) didn't click. all i did was write down the address and time of the interview. so, after searching for clothes to wear to this interview, and my mom laundring one of my button up shirts by hand, while i'm yelling at her not to (not yelling, but you get the point).

on a different note, i think she did that because she's ready for me to get out of the apartment. i'm starting to feel unwanted. i also think she has a boyfriend. hey, as long as he's rich.

anyway, getting back to my story. i got to work with resume paper and the address to print out directions to the office, when it hit me to look up the company online. first selection on google read "RIPOFFREPORT". what else could i do but click and find out what that meant. i found myself in throngs of rebuttals, debunkings and the like. first thing i noticed was how intelligent most of the people with negative things to say about the company sounded, and how ignorant (for the lack of a firmer word) the franchise owners sounded. there was this one that sounded extremely rehearsed, but i think it to be a ringer, you know, an expert in their field paid for their services in an ameteur setting. so, needless to say, i'll be contacting my recruiter and letting him know that i will not be interested. actually, i think i'm too scared and have someone else call and tell them i'm dead. he DOES have my resume with all my information.

so that's my story. interesting? only you can tell!

Sunday

just finished watching "jersey girl" on cable. talk about a said father movie! anyway, loved it! i want my daughter to be like the girl. didn't catch her name from the credits at the end. she was sooo cute.

wait a minute?!

did i just say that!?

how old am i????

rhetorical question, people! don't need answers.

anyway, good movie...sorry....good chick flick...yeah, that sounds more manly.

went to dickens on the strand yesterday. it was fun but i didn't take my camera. forgot batteries and then i forgot the camera itself. sol got a picture taken with santa claus. i must have seemed like a rude mexican because i was stuffing food or something into my mouth when sol caught eye of santa and mrs. claus and started waving. they came over and couldn't say much except grunts and mmm's. i distinctly remember smiling so that should give me points. anyway, i thrust sol into santa claus' arm but she gets fussy so mother has to get her while better half takes a picture. anyway, it was a cool time. saw a civil war reenactment camp. AWESOME!!!!!!!! you know me and the 60's...the 1860's!!!! sol rode an ephelant (elephant) and sat on a cavalry horse belonging to an, i believe, a confederate master sgt. it could have been a staff sgt., but i can't remember and my papers are way too lost to find. there was playing in the snow (half melted ice) and in the parade, i got to see the great great grand son of charles dickens himself. good old mark looks almost like his ancestor, i think. then again, i might be thinking about mark twain so who the hell knows. a french whore (actress), just in case there was some doubt there, was doing a skit with her compatriots and was telling my better half that they don't dance for free. this because the three other girls were dancing to a bag pipe player at one ofthe squares. needless to say, it gave my better half ideas. oh well. as long as i get some support from the venture, don't you think....:)

shits and giggles, everyone.

Thursday

okay, so i'm on myspace (again) and also facebook. facebook, well, i've been hearing a lot about it from friends, but never heard about it until matt mentioned it. well, i'm part of both now so if anyone wants to be my friend, please step up and be reognized.

my "better half" is at the rolling stones concert as we speak. i uploaded the three rolling stones albums i have into my mp3 player and am enjoying them emmensely. anyway, i guess it's really not the same thing, but i get to choose the songs i want to hear.

anyone interesting on watching "the rocky horror picture show" on saturday the 10th of december? if you are, get with me. it'll be an interesting night.
