QUIS LEGET HAEC

Tuesday

So I've been hearing a lot of this, "It's time to water the tree of liberty", bullshit more and more these passed few months. If it's not the rich that bitch about higher taxes, it's the rich with AR-15's that are bitching about what they refer to as their Constitutional Rights as American citizens. Then, we also find America upset about their healthcare and all I see is a mother, American born, employed for the majority of her life, but because the school district that she worked for decided to go with a retirement portfolio instead of contributing to Social Security, she doesn't qualify for it [Social Security]. Now, being one of two children, my sibling and I have to work just that much harder to help an American survive the economic struggle. And we sit here, all of us, and bitch to bloggers and .com's about our plite, about how we are having our rights taken away, and we type away on our thousand dollar notebooks and listen to our hundred dollar ipods and bitch about how this country is slowly turning into an immigrant-infested third world country. How the hell can we walk out into God's green world and hold our heads up high when we try to make political statements with weapons instead of words. What have we taught our children but that a sword is mightier than a pen.

I have a CHL (Concealled Handgun License) and I feel more secure when I walk out my front door only because I delude myself into thinking that I have control over the situation. In reality, control is an illusion of the weak and ignorant minds. I step out of my front door, the entire time running scenarios in my head. How is that living with control? How is that living with security? Although I don't like the Concealment part of my license, I do it because it's the law and because carrying a handgun is not a right but a privledge. It may be in the Constitution but it's more than just words found on old parchment. It's a living entity that requires deligence. You are saying, "When I walk out into the world, I will make it my duty to protect all, WITH NO DISCRIMINATION. I will uphold the philosophy of this country to the utmost. I will not relenquish my weapon unless Constitutionally ordered and if my state, MY STATE, requires me to present myself and muster into a state militia, STATE MILITIA, I will do so".

Don't get me wrong, the countries philosophy has drastically changed. It used to be, "Bring me your poor and hungry". Now it's, "Stop bringing so many, Paco". There is so much blame going around. People blame the government, the government is forced to blame the immigrants, and the whole time no one is actually doing anything about anything. So a few hispanics die in detention centers, so what?! So what?? What ever happened to human rights? Oh that's right, human rights = rights for whites. I swear to God that the names I came across on that freaking sight sounded like a Nazi campaign. Names like Weiss, Schiltz and some other's I can't remember. Oh sorry, I'm hispanic and according to science I can't think. These people didn't care about the dead hispanics mainly because they were illegal, and according to them, not human. I blame no one but our own ignorance. I blame nothing more than our capacity for self preservation.

And still, these little boys wanting to be men walk around the President with weapons, and still these people cry out calling upon the Constitution to save them, and they hoot-n-hollar about all the injustices of the world and all I see are people that would shit their pants if they were to be told what was really needed. These are the Sunshine Soldiers! If I was to tell you what we need, you were shit your pants and cry. If people would tell you what you needed to do, you would tell them to their face that it wasn't your problem. You don't deserve that weapon in your hands because you don't know what it requires. You don't know that the best thing for you to do is go home and take a nap because soon enough the big boys are going to come out and play and you won't know what to do with yourself. The real defenders of Democracy and of our Republic will stand up in a single voice. And then you'll see what the Tree of Liberty is really made of.
