Doomed to repeat…yada-yada-yada

I had to close my IRA today.  The guy was cool.  Penalties and what-nots.  I used to be worth more dead than alive.  I guess I’m not even worth anything dead.  It’s not the first time.  Guess if time repeats intself, it’s not the last time.

I’m almost done with my list of things to do today.  I guess that’s something positive to hold on to.  I guess I can hold on to cable for the rest of the week.  That’s a little perk I’ll give myself.

I applied to some Administrative positions in the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD.  I drove down to take the exam.  I passed the first part, failed the second part and typed 58 WPM (57 after errors calculated).  The second part had to deal with how to treat children; you know, classroom scenarios and stuff.  I don’t agree with the way they score that part of the test.  I’m going by the bookstore to pick up that PPR book they were telling me about.  The way I see it, if you have to study for that part of the test, you’ll learn it and not apply it.  What they should do is ask the individual why it is that he answered that question and then try to explain to him/her why the district wants something different.  Now, if the applicant said he wanted to eat babies and drink their blood…well…don’t call that person for an interview.

I hate growing up.  I hate responsibility.  I hate how you need to know someone who knows someone.

When all else fails…teach!
