QUIS LEGET HAEC

Thursday

It seems that no one has hope for the pope (No rythmic pun intended). Man, he's been the only pope I've known. Not personally, but you gather what I'm trying to say. Personally, I think the guy still has some trick up his sleeve. You know, he's not really in the hospital, but really, he's in some third world country, wheeling and dealing with terrorists for the release of hostages or something. He's either a spy or a super hero and pope is just his disguise to throw people off.

Jeez! what will happen. Rachel said it would be cool if Archbishop Miller got the gig. That'd be awesome! New kid on the block and already at the head of the class. Anyway, enough of that. Pope JP II has mad skills and is top dog so no one has to worry because he's kind of the teachers pet. The Big Man has plans for him.

"Hello, my name is Jesus and I have a dowloading problem".

Wednesday

So I remembered what else I wanted to tell you all. We all are aware of my new obsesion with SoulSeek. Anyway, I've been looking for songs with our names in them. So far I have Emily, almost had Amanda until the person decided to sign out or something, and Andy is a little difficult because it's ussually used in the female connotation. Matt or Matthew is a little more difficult because it keeps given me either users names or chrisitan songs. I got Mary from Scissor Sisters, I think. Anyway, the point being, that I'll probably transcribe them and post them. Like I don't have much to do. Actually, that's something I want to do, not have to do.

My name in stone, what more can a person ask for? Nothing...
I'm not worthy.

So, my laptop just erased what I had written before. It was this whole elaborate thing. It had to do with leaping into the fray of things when, in fact, I should be fray adjacent.
Ohh, there it is!
So, I've been researching Burton Spivak, author of "Jefferson's English Crisis". Anyway, I needed his bio and so I search database and books here on campus, hoping for some bio on the back pages. Anyway, I did a google search and came across a lawyer by the same name. I decided to email the guy and ask for info, if he was the author. Anyway, email sent, I decided to check out the law firm's website and there, lord and behold, was the bio I was looking for. I leapt before I looked. Just like that damn camera I've been waiting for for the last two weeks. I've read some people comments about there cameras and how they recieved theirs in four days, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, I should stop leaping anywhere.

So Spring Break is upon us. I got A weekend off. Not even the week. ANyway, it's as if the boss people don't think I have anything to do. The point isn't that I don't have anything planned, but that I may have. Who am I kidding. I must be boring. I think I am.

***Exciting news, we'll have a temporary DLC connection to Russia. Bon voyage, or what ever it is in Russian.

Monday

23rd day

I imagine that you've realized that i'm working my days backwards here, right? Anyway, I'm going strong. My new cigarettes are peppermint candies. I actually think I'm in it for the long haul. Hope so. This weekend was fine. Could have been better. I don't think I'm going to like this Spring Break. Don't know why, but my guess is that I'll be working, I have too much stuff to catch up on and we'll be short a DLC.

So, I'm on campus and guess what I'm doing...Right! Can't seem to stop. My new addiction. It's just that I want to keep everything to the last possible moment and then freak out and eventualy bitch and moan about my grades. It's my motif. I procrastinate and then I regret not doing more to better my grades.

Friday

All I need are some converse and I'm set. Anyway, I'm on campus, supposed to be working (meaning reading), but I'm stuck downloading music. Imagine that, I'm stuck downloading music as if I can't pull myself from doing such things. You know how it is. It's a chore, but someone has to do it.

I'm listening to "Hey Mickey". Matt thinks I'm gay for listening to it but hey, it was a catchie tone when I was a kid. You see, the song, well, it's like she's singing to me;) Anyway, it's upbeat and happy. Total difference of what I was then.

26th day
OK, it says somewhere that it takes 27 days to break a bad habit. I've actually never kept up with this fact so I'm going to here. I'm on my 26th day of breaking my bad habit. Pray for me.

Thursday

OK, so I'm going to try to quit again. I have mints in my pocket and cigarettes on my mind. I want to do it this time around but I'm freaking scared that I'll end up smoking agaiin. i really don't want to do the whole patch, gum thing. For one, it's expensive. Anyway, wish me luck and wellness.

I don't know if you remember reading the post I made about the 4th grader who I was helping in writing a report dealing with the Mexican American war, but anyway, turns out that the information I gave the kid was pretty good. Supposedly, his mom told my mom that the kid wants to laminate the page for future reference. Now, that's a little extreme, and by the by, I know for a fact that 4th graders have absolutely no idea what laminate means.

So I have SoulSeek. Matt needs to help me with it because it's freaking confusing. Hell, I can't even write papers without crapping my pants. I wish I was smart.

Wednesday

So, I'm in the Library, trying to study, but really don't feel like it. Anyway, it's been an interesting week with my new laptop. I love this thing. I actaully watched my first DVD on it in the library. Not only that, but I had slices of pizza while watching my first DVD on it. Could anything be more heavenly? That's a rhetorical question, thank you very much.

Nothing special has transpired. The new Bambolinos on Westheimer is pretty good. There's actually internal sitting space. It was cooler outside though. Inside, it was freaking hot. Another observation made was the large sign we used to have to make our orders from; no longer there. There are actual menu's now. No window, just counter. Etc, ETc, ETC...

I've been on this thing for over an hour already and I still have 68% of my battery left. My last Armada lasted for about 30 minutes before crashing and yelling at me for juice. Man, I love technology.

Monday

So, I'm writing my first post with my new laptop. Any mistakes I make is due to the fact that I'm trying not to break it. Anyway, I'm going to buy a pack for it, and for those of you that know me, you know what kind it has to be because it's the only backpacks I buy. I'm visiting the bookstore after work.

Friday

So it's Friday, and Monday is Valentines Day. Happy Valentines day to all. Can't wait to get home and do nothing. It's not doing nothing, but it's that no one is around to do anything else with.

I'm at work. Writing on my laptop. I can't beleive that my era of white compaq Armada 7350MT is almost over. I just need to find a good notebook to buy. I'll probably have to get one from the last place I got this laptop from. It's cheaper. No coupons for Jesus!

Geez, I want a beer:(
Not to sound like "Day of the Dead", but "Hellooooo, is there anyone there? Hellooooo, anybody hear me?"

Wednesday

Hey Em-J, you're going to be angry with me but we didn't have presentations but we passed out our papers and we read them, then asked questions. There were no formal presentations. Sorry:)

Still in class. trying to type as softly as possible. I actually just finished my part about 3 minutes ago. I'm excited by I stumbled when questions came up. I'm dumb and anti-social. And I think I have a phobia of speaking.

So it's Wednsday. Wuu-whooo!

Tuesday

So, I got some sleep last night. Extremely worried about how I did on the final. Actually, I know, I just don't want to realize the fact that I'm always doing bad in his classes. I'm the only one of the "Trinity" that could have possible failed that class. No effert means no success, right?

Anyway, last night I watched "Stand By Me". Great movie, just can't realize why I love it so much. Anyway, since I've never had cable till recently, there was this blobbed-out word at the end of the movie that I could never tell what the word was. All these years I wondered, and since the movie was on TMC (I think) and since it was after hours and they didn't beep the curse words out, I thought to myself, "Finally, I may actually see what the word is". Well, the movie progressed and it was just about to end and the seen is Dreyfuss at the computer and as he types, I see that the word is "Jesus". Shit! All these years just to see that the freaking word was "Jesus"! I thought it was going to be some insightful word, something that would change my world forever. But no, the freaking word was "Jesus". ANyway, I was disappointed.

Monday

I'M FINISHED!!!!!
I foresee a C+. Anyway, Worked my ass off. Can't say that it was that difficult. I just waited till the last possible moment to do it. It seems I like pressure and stress. I'm at work. I even made it look pretty. Not that the work is coherent, but that I popped it in a folder and labelled it. Now, I can get started on my next book. I have to read a short book on Washington for Wednsday. I also have to write a two page thingie on it. Actaully, after writing this final for London, I can pretty much do anything I want.....And fail. Wish me luck;)

Sunday

Even in the early morning haze of mist, this place seems untouched by gloom. The tranquil night slowly giving way to morning light gives off a soathing comfort as I sit here, watching and working quickly on this infernal machine. How can I not enjoy such reverance? How can I not sit and wait for the coming of the light?

It's been a while since last I saw such stillness. The last time...well, that's not important. Thoughts I don't want slowly give way to thoughts that I would enjoy. It's like a metaphor of night to light. Even the slowly chattering trees speak volumes as they sway with the breeze. How can I not listen? Any more and it would be a story best forgotten.

Oh, for this moment not to end. My mind profused with coherent thought. The elimination of unconsciousness with understanding of self. I wish that was true.

Cold breeze. Trees chatter. No socks. Benoir chasing rats. Sun still not up.

St. THomas feels like any other time at 4 in the morning. Wondering what I'm doing on campus so early on a Sunday? Believe me, I'm asking myself that question. Circumstances beyond my control have me attending to some unorthodox actions on my part. Simply meaning, I'm freaking out of my mind.

So, today's Super Bowl Sunday. I actually feel bad that I don't care more than I do now. Chalk it up to the cold weather. Anyway, the whole drive here I was thinking about what I was going to write in this thing. Now that I'm here, I have nothing worth saying. I think it was more for the drive than anything else. I think the security guard is weary of my presence. I would be too. Actually, I needed gas and cigarettes, so I used those as my excuses.

Mary's birthday bash was fun. I think I got a thrill out of killing immaterial beings. There's something about chasing people with guns and running them over with 4x4's that gets the blood flowing. I'm refering to Halo 2. Anyway, cake, margarita's, chips and pizza are great.

I wish I knew what I was thinking at this point in time. I think there's some enlightened thought circling the toilet bowl that is my brain just waiting for the right moment for it to get flushed out or flushed down. Either way, I'll never know.

Children in the middle ages had it freaking rough. Too many dumb asses thinking they knew better. Just like the song says, "We don't need no education!"
