Finally!

Well, finally got a call from one of those headhunters people have been talking about.  Well, he isn’t a “headhunter” par ce, but it makes me feel better saying it because it gives all these months purpose.

At least the market is picking up, at least that’s what he said.  There are things opening up in this area of the world.  Hopefully.

Sent him a resume.  I guess I’ll hear back from him on Monday.

Interesting life

Well, what can I say except that I’m not sure what I can say.  Life is steadily progressing, and I’m still not sure what I’m going to do with myself.

I attended a certification class to be a Process Server.  Somehow, It doesn’t feel like enough.  I’m so out of my element.

I can’t believe that it’s almost Thanksgiving.  Better yet, I can’t believe that it’s almost Christmas.  The year is almost up and nothing but rejections and empty answering machines.

I contacted my old boss and asked for a letter of recommendation but he hasn’t returned my email.  Should I worry?  Is it a bad sign?  Well, the main reason I contacted him was to let him know I was still looking for work.  Although, I was contacted by a recruiter looking for West power trading experience.  I let him know that my experience wasn’t in West energy, but East energy.  He at least returned my message.

There was a P/T position open at one of my old jobs and I applied for it.  You don’t know rejection like when a person sends you an email saying that they remembered you from all those years ago but that the job went to someone else.

Is my Master’s degree a hindrance?  I’m starting to think that people are afraid that I’m looking for a P/T job and that if they higher me, I’ll leave soon there after because of a new “opportunity”.  I understand their qualms, but I also wish they didn’t exist.

Everybody’s happy that the Republicans are back in power.  They are glad that the American populace spoke out in one voice that they wanted the Republicans back in power.  What the American people don’t know is that they were manipulated by those with the money and the same people who wanted…you guessed it…Power.

It says a lot about Americans in general.  It says that if you throw enough money and fear around, anyone will buy your product.

If it’s the Republicans will, it’s god’s will.

I have to say that they only drawback regarding this…software, I guess, is that it’ll only let me post one entry a day.  Other than that, It gives me an error.

Well, how has everyone been?

Anyway, I have no idea what else to write in here for today.  Nothing interesting has happened since the last time.  Still haven’t found a job.  I went to get my background check for being a Process Server, but that won’t bring in money the way I need it.  That just means I’ll need another job to supplement my life.

At least I’ll have something to do tomorrow. Thanks Mary.
